Beloved Professor of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade Predrag Bajčetić was laid to rest quietly today at the New Cemetery, accompanied by frequent sun showers, wreaths and
bouquets of red and white roses.
“Predrag Bajčetić was not living for art. His life was an art from in its own merit. He continuously tried to create the new world and present it to the eternal truth. In theater, at the University, in his study, even at the hospital bed, each person he talked to was important, each word should have the significance, each day was a premiere – said the Abbot of the Draganac Monastery, monk Ilarion – former actor and student of Professor Bajčetić.
Professor Baječtić was accompanied to his final resting place by his family, friends and former students with the sound guitar and song: “O God, where did you get these roads?”
