99 – years anniversary from liberation of Belgrade in WW1 was commemorated on November 1, 2017 by laying wreaths to the Serbian Ossuary of the Defenders of Belgrade (1914-1918), at the New Cemetery of Belgrade. The wreaths were laid by the City Council member Stevo Tatalović, representatives of the Alliance Association of Descendants of Serbian Warriors 1912 – 1920,

Certificate award ceremony for the university students who completed 2017 BG PRACTICE program

The certificate award ceremony for the university students who successfully completed 2017 BG PRACTICE program was organized on October 24, 2017 in the assembly hall of the Belgrade City Council. In the course of this year’s student practice program, enabling the most successful Belgrade University students to gain practical work experience, 240 students carried out their practice in 45 city institutions and enterprises.

On October 20, 2017, 73-years anniversary of the “Belgrade Offensive” (liberation of Belgrade in the course of WWII), was commemorated by the state ceremony, including laying wreaths at the Memorial Cemetery of Belgrade Liberators.

Commemoration of 82nd Anniversary from Death of General Miloš Vasić

On October 20, 2017, 82nd anniversary from death of General Miloš Vasić, Minister of Army and Navy, military educator and strategist, credited for introducing the rank „Vojvoda“ (Field Marshal) within the Serbian Armed Forces ranks,, was commemorated at the New Cemetery of Belgrade. The wreaths to the final resting place of General Vasić were laid by representatives of organizations honoring the tradition of Serbian liberation wars (1912-1920),
