Presidents of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of France laid wreaths and flowers at the New Cemetery in Belgrade

On Monday, July 15, 2019, in the course of the official state visit, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron, paid their respects to the casualties of the Great War by laying wreaths at the Serbian Ossuary of Belgrade Defenders (1914-1918) at the New Cemetery of Belgrade.

101 years from Petar Kočić’s Death

On August 27, 2017, there will be 101 years from death of great author and national tribune Petar Kočić. Petar Kočić was a prominent Serbian author, national activist against the Austrian occupation and social injustice in rural areas, who devoted his entire literary and political work to the national and social activism. He was Serbian representative in the Bosnian Parliament in 1910 and 1911.
